Home Again

Last week was the first week of the Fall semester, and it turned out to be quite the week.  I’ve found that Physics is going to be astoundingly boring—I’m more or less retaking AP physics with a tiny bit of calculus thrown in—Tech Writing is going to be monotonous, Computer Science II is going to be alright (but time consuming), and Discrete Structures II is going to be pretty insanely hard.  On the bright side, I did get some cooler room mates, albeit in a farther-from-everything-else-on-campus room, but enough about that.

Now it’s the first weekend, and I’m home again.  The one nice thing about having a physics class that will pretty much solely consist of review for me is that I should be able to skip it on Fridays pretty frequently to get home earlier.  Today I ended up back in Bradenton a little while after 6:00PM, a far cry from the early afternoon times I was managing last year, so hopefully a couple of missed physics lectures will get me here a little quicker.

In any case, now I’m here, and I have the weekend to enjoy.  Going to see some fights with Danielle tomorrow, after plenty of sleeping and hopefully a nice lunch.  Then Sunday Danielle is going to sing at my church, so I’ll get to run camera for her performance one service, and run the switcher for it the second.  And then we’ll have to find something fun to do for the rest of the weekend.  For now, I’ll just worry about that later and enjoy being home…
